How do I buy books from ShelvesofBooks?
ShelvesofBooks provides customers with a search feature that allows you to search by title, author or ISBN. The search results shown to you consist of the inventory from multiple booksellers. The ship from location and condition of the book will differ for every result. Upon finding the book that you want click the 'Add to cart' button.

Why am I being charged shipping for each book and not one shipping rate?
Customers are charged a flat amount of shipping per book ordered. ShelvesofBooks is not able to combine shipping due to the fact that your order consists of books from different sellers who all need to receive a shipping credit.

How will my book be shipped?
Shipping is $3.50 per book ordered. Domestic customers will have their orders shipped USPS Media Mail where International customers will have their orders shipped USPS Economy Mail. The option to upgrade to faster shipping is available.

What payment methods to you accept?
ShelvesofBooks offers customers three methods for sending payment for their purchases. Customers may send payment through PayPal, pay by credit card using 2checkout, or mail us a check or money order.

Why was my order cancelled?
Our sellers are notified of a sale upon your completion of the purchase. A seller may not be able to locate the book, it was damaged, or was previously sold in which case the sale could be cancelled. Orders are also cancelled by ShelvesofBooks if payment by check is not received within 14 days or the credit card order appears to be fraudulent.

Where is my order?
Delivery time will be different for every order. Delivery time will depend on shipping method chosen and location of the seller.

USPS Media Mail can take 4-14 (and up to 21) business days depending on the seller's location. Books ordered with priority mail shipping will be shipped by either USPS Priority Mail or by UPS Ground. Delivery time for priority mail is about 3-5 business days. International orders are shipped using economy shipping and can take 4-6 weeks for delivery. If the expected time frame has passed contact us at info@shelvesofbooks.com requesting proof of shipping. We will contact the seller on your behalf.

How do I return a book?
Customers have 30 days to return a book for any reason. The customer is responsible for shipping the book to ShelvesofBooks. You must include the invoice you received with the book and the original packaging when returning a book. Books should be returned to:

If we determine that the book was not accurately described we will issue a full refund. If the book was accurately described a refund less shipping will be issued.
